About Me:

I grew up in Albertville and graduated from Albertville High School. Following high school graduation, I attended school in Miami Beach, Florida and began working as a civilian for the US Air Force. I have been fortunate to live in many areas of the United States and Europe. My favorite pastimes are traveling, reading, and spending time with my family. I have been blessed with two wonderful children and two granddaughters. In addition to education, I am involved with the local high school exchange student program. I've hosted several exchange students from Austria, Germany, Sweden, Norway, South Korea and Japan. I love being a part of this program and believe that it brings more into my curriculum for students to experience and understand other cultures.

I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Jacksonville State University in 2004. I received my Master's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Alabama in 2009.

I love my students and I love teaching!
