I grew up in Douglas and attended school at Douglas K through 12. I graduated in 1992. I then moved to Tennessee pursuing my degree from Athens State University earning certification from Alabama and Tennessee. I taught 2 years in Benton County, Tennessee. After these two years, I took a leave from the teaching profession to begin a family. I have two girls, Riley and Carlea.  I returned to Alabama in 2005 with the opportunity to return to my home school and begin a new teaching career. I have been teaching for 15 years within the Marshall County School System and have been an educator for 19 years. I am married to Tim Bush of Crossville. We have 5 children; Caleb, Myranda, & Erin as well as Riley, Carlea. We are currently excited about the arrival of our first grandchild, Sophia Alice due in October 2020.  I look forward to meeting you and/or your child and I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!
