I grew up in Douglas and attended school at Douglas K through 12. I graduated in 1992. I then moved to Tennessee pursuing my degree from Athens State University earning certification from Alabama and Tennessee. I taught 2 years in Benton County, Tennessee. After these two years, I took a leave from the teaching profession to begin a family. I have two girls, Riley and Carlea. I returned to Alabama in 2005 with the opportunity to return to my home school and begin a new teaching career. I have been teaching for 11 years within the Marshall County School System. I look forward to a new journey in my teaching career as our schools Media Specialist. I am married to Tim Bush of Crossville. We have 5 children; Caleb, Myranda, & Erin as well as Riley, Carlea. We also have an occasional exchange student or two that will be staying with us at any given time. So, our home is constantly filled with children. I look forward to meeting you and/or your child as well as a wonderful and exciting school year!
